Certification Integrity

The AI Challenge is designed to recognize applicants who can direct AI thoughtfully, make judgments, improve outputs, and produce useful work.

AI use is expected and encouraged, but the idea, direction, decisions, revisions, and final result must come from the applicant.

Certification is issued only when the submission meets the standard. If revision is required, one free resubmission is included so the applicant can strengthen the evidence of originality, direction, and judgment.

Applicants must submit their own project or work example. Submissions may not be someone else's project, copied sample text, or a lightly edited version of another person's work.

Submissions will be reviewed using OpenAI and Anthropic Claude model evaluation, duplicate-detection checks, and human review before a certificate is issued.

The review does not depend on trying to detect whether individual sentences were written with AI. It looks for evidence that the applicant brought the idea, directed the AI, made decisions, revised the work, and improved the final result.

If a submission needs revision, one free resubmission is included for the same applicant and project.
